yes of Course, being able to curb stomp people trying to do the Dem. Palace when we are doing it would be a good thignDraco wrote:Make Malas set with felucca ruleset. But the towns Umbra and Luna a non killing zone. Its not hard to fix and would be likeable by everyone
All I do is PvP, and I have to say this is still the worst idea ever. People shouldn't be forced to pvp in these facets. People could easily run doom with pvpers and keep new players out. However, there has been discussion in the past to make factions all facets and whatnot, which I would support, simply because it would be peoples choice to do it.Draco wrote:Make Malas set with felucca ruleset. This is the only worthwhile possibility we would choose as players would have control over whether they want to get into more pvp or not. Forcing PVP into a facet that was originally non-pvp oriented we be confusing and a turn-off for many players who do not wish to constantly be in pvp mode.d. wrote: However, there has been discussion in the past to make factions all facets and whatnot, which I would support, simply because it would be peoples choice to do it.
IMO just factions as there's more to do with factions and would help breathe life into them. OSI has given factions a face lift recently as well so it would go together nicely I think.Red Squirrel wrote:The only way this would happen is either or both:
1: faction pvp in all facets
2: pvp anywhere deeds
But to force it to be pvp for everyone, won't happen for reasons already mentioned.
If anyone has the link so I can read the exact changes to factions I would be very interested in reading it. I would love to see factions develop more and possibly gain a slight hint of wonderful UO:Valor uniqueness (of course, when RS and Death have time =p.)Seer Death wrote:IMO just factions as there's more to do with factions and would help breathe life into them. Good luck dry looting me. <3geezushhchrist wrote:as a pvper i say no for one u could kill everyone at an idoc and a newbie could be wandering through Luna killed dry looted and he would quit
I agree with Brunus on this one. Stuff like ganking, repeatedly killing ppl, and shittalking turn people off from pvp. Don't dry loot them either. Remember, there is a real person on the other end too. Most ppl know that if they see me, I will at least try to kill them once in a night. But thats it, just once. I have my fun, then leave them alone. Even the newest players seem to understand and accept that concept.Gaiava Arkkaza wrote: But really, the unique thing that will improve PvP right now is a better attitude. I haven't seem people apart from di. Tony and ld stepping into fel.

On the other hand there are some players who rk the snot out of a new player, belittle him with insults, loot him dry, they reanimate his dead horse and run off into the sunset.
Yeah sucks that people will do that.DOCTOR THUNDER wrote:I agree with Brunus on this one. Stuff like ganking, repeatedly killing ppl, and shittalking turn people off from pvp.
