problem connecting to PSP HELP!!!!!!!!

have installed router thomson 576 as supplied by AOL who is my internet supplier.I have set it up and can connect to internet no problem on my main computer but when I try to connect my sons PSP i keep getting the same error which is "the attempt to obtain the IP address timed out" after several uninstallations & reinstallations it is still the same.Been in touch with aol who are no help whatsoever even thought they supplied router and assured me it was compatible. Can anyone please help me out b4 I go mad.

Glad you got it fixed. AOL sucks and I keep myself as far away from it as possible, my friend also has a problem connecting his PSP while using AOL, so I know how you felt.
