An earthquake of that magnitude should be pretty harmless, or at least I hope so!

Might displace gifts under the Christmas tree though, and depending on how cold it is there it may burst pipes but given it's in the states I doubt they hit freezing levels (which would make pipes more vulnerable to breaken during an earth quake, at least I'm guessing it would)
