Sunbird

Post by richardj »

Mozilla makes a free calendar program called Sunbird. It will create multiple calendars that you can view simultaneously.

To create calendars, click the Calendars tab. One calendar will already be listed--My Calendar. Right-click in the box and select New Calendar. Type a name for your calendar and specify a location. Select a background color and click OK. Repeat for each calendar.

You will notice a check mark beside the calendar names in the list. This means appointments on each calendar will be visible in the right side of the window. Background colors help distinguish the calendars. You can select or deselect calendars to change which are displayed.

It is similar to Outlook-without all the weight. It doesn't really 'install' you just run it from the folder you extracted the files to.

It seems pretty cool. B)
