I get home from work, open up firefox to visit Iceteks (Mainly 'cause UO was down) and what do I see? The shock of my life! (Notice the red highlight by the title bar). Pop-ups Red? For shame, for shame. I knew you enjoyed making those mortgages calculator's in HTML, but never thought you'd go that far! :o. Hehehe j/k, I actually don't know how that message got there. I might have went to another site and came back and this message popped up. It was weird so I decided to take a screenshot :P.

The pop-up isn’t an advertisement. :) The forum software notifies you of personal messages via a pop-up window. It just says something like: “You received a message from John Doe. (Read in this window | Read in new window | Close)”. Mind you, that’s not anything exact. It has been quite some time since I’ve seen it. :P

Fortunately, you are also notified of personal messages immediately to the right of the “My Controls” link. :)
