The French electricity board EDF is due to grill an electricity worker, after she published a book showing how to survive in French corporate culture without doing any work.
According to a report in Ananova, in her book Bonjour Paresse, which means Hello Laziness, Corinne Maier advises readers to opt for really useless jobs like those of consultants, advisers, or experts.
She says that the best way to avoid people asking what you have been doing all day is to arrive with a bundle of files under your arm.
In one of the chapters 'Corporate Culture - Stupid People', she writes, "You don't have much to lose if you don't do much at work."
Private organisations in France have reacted strongly to her book, which they feel reflects badly on them.
