This is a special announcement from G4techTV's Squirrel Alert System.
As you know, squirrels and technology have been enemies since the beginning of time. The latest casualties in the ongoing battle between squirrels and human progress are the power lines that keep G4techTV's website up and running.
A team of highly trained technicians in full anti-squirrel armor will be repairing the damage, but unfortunately this will necessitate shutting off all power to G4techTV's website, as anti-squirrel armor will keep the nutty beasts from creating further human suffering, but will not prevent a highly trained technician from being highly electrocuted.
Here is the important part:
There will be a three-hour website outage Friday and/or Saturday (August 27 and 28) at some point after 11 pm PST and before 6 am PST. G4techTV's site will definitely return after 6 am PST.
And please, don't take your anger out on your local squirrels. We're trying to make peace with the fluffy-tailed Luddites.
