Testing sites in different reselutions

Post by Red Squirrel »

I just thought of something neat for testing sites in different reselutions. Instead of always changing your settings back and forth, which can be hard on the monitor, simply make a ruler on your desktop. I made one on mine so when I want to test, I just resize my window to match it. So that way I can quickly test for 800px wide and 640px wide to make sure text and such does not take up too much room.

Or install Firefox and use the Web Developer extension. You can use the "Resize" menu to change the size of your browser window easily.
