Did you try this...go to Control Panel> Adm.Tools> Services. Scroll down to Wireless Zero Configuration, double click, which will bring up a window to disable.
This site has a lot of good info on XP configurations.

You're welcome.
I like the way he exlains the services tweaks so you can understand exactly what you might or might not need. It's surprising what is actually running in the background that most people never use.

You don't need to install updates in Linux.

man that guy did a bad mistake.
he used all small white fonts on a black background. duh.
that is just as bad as small black fonts on a white background.
he shoud have use all colored fonts instead that would cut back on the glare and the washout of the small fonts.
some people just cant get the hang of color.

I thought black was not a good choice too, maybe my older eyes though!
At one time he had an option for changing the background color but I don't think it's there anymore.

i liked the black background he just should have used gray or maybe light yellow so the fonts would not have been like little pin holes on this large screen,
i use black for my background all the time. it is easier on the old eyes. what makes it hard is the white letters, and the white background with black letters is the worst there is.
most programers could not wait to get a color monitor now they use the colors of BLACK LETTER AND WHITE BACK GROUND stupid.

nope don't use that color scheme. can't stand white on black background. if it's a black background i have to work with, then i like using that neon lime green color for text. but i do agree with you that ms hearts cheats like there's no tomorrow. but i have gotten a few "super perfect" games (4 shoot the moons in a row). minesweeper cheats like crazy too.rovingcowboy wrote: i liked the black background he just should have used gray or maybe light yellow so the fonts would not have been like little pin holes on this large screen,

Haha, I think solitaire does too, sometimes the cards are switched around and you don't even know.
