Guests get this nasty 120 second flood control on the links powered by the search engine, but that is to avoid bots and stuff.
Later on I might make it so the log in and register link check the cookie and if it detects that the user is logged in it won't show it. I might even make a welcome message but I think that would require mysql code... the home page is already slow enough without that!
