Banner Ads

In effort to advertize IceTeks further, I will be joining all the ad exchanges I know of, and using the top banner placement to display the required ads, it will rotate between the various ad exchange programs. That way we will gain points and the IceTeks ads will be shown on other websites. Hopefully this will increase popularity.

I will also throw in a few of our affiliates in that ad section, but it will mostly be for add exchange programs.

If ever you see porn or something not normal please let me know! (that will be hard to track down if it's the case though!)

Don't worry, I WILL NOT EVER put popups or any garbage of that kind. Even though the ad rotation script would let me use flash, that's something I will also never use as ads, unless it's very low resource ones, but those are rare.

An update for the ads...

I will keep the top banner there, however we will not have banner exchanges - for some reason their ads made Mozilla use 99% of resources and slowed down my computer to a crawl. And I have a fast computer, so screw those ads! I'll stick with affiliate ads.

I was thinking that it would be cool to start my own banner exchange program and it would be based on my rotation script. People would have to put the rotation script url on their site and their own ads would be added in our database, so when someone would join it, it would go all over, and would encourage people to join. Something to think of later.
