any one here notice that some groups and fourms that have larger then 2.5 mb's of one file stored in the groups web site cant download the complete file.?

the trouble is this.

in the group on yahoo groups i started i allow the members to post files. yahoo allows up to 5 mbs for uploading. but they never download only 2.5 mbs of the file.?

so we have to split them in to single zip files of less then 2.5 mb's for the other members to get them.

what is your ideas on it. i think it is some sort of blocking ware for stopping the tradeing of music files.??

That seems likely that Yahoo is trying to stop music trade, but they should have made the limit lower if they wanted to because I download some music files that are less than 2.5 Mb. :roflmao2:

That's probably what it is. When all my sites were hosted on tripod and other hosts like that, they had a limit of about 500K, I could not even put background music if I wanted to!
