Earlier today around 7:00pm ET our data centre experienced 10 link outages which degraded network performance. This would not have directly affected the shard itself but would have affected DNS as well as UO Gateway causing to show the shard as down.
As of now it appears to be solved but no official word yet from the data centre.

newark <> bhs link problem resolved. Everything ok.
mtl <> bhs link cut, work continues by ovh team.
At this point everything appears normal as far as I can tell, the downed link is probably loss of redundancy.

There is still a fibre bundle being worked on as it appears to have been chewed by rodents (not me!) but traffic seems fine now so I'll consider this incident solved.
