I have decided to remove the 6:00pm weekly restart that normally happened every Monday. With our new update system, we normally restart on a per needed basis instead and never end up needing that weekly restart.
As always, restarts will always have a notice of 30 minutes or so, unless it is an emergency or late night update. Should it happen that no one is online for a brief period of time during the notice window, the shard will restart immediately.

On a similar line...
Every 15 to 20 mins i get a blue message come up in the bottom left of the screen, Something like " Buffer save time abnormal"
My screen freezes for a couple of seconds or if i have just cast a spell the sound effect will loop for the few seconds...
Now i know this is the server saving, but is the message and pause i get normal?

Yes. The server saves are always happening in the background. When that message shows up, that means that there was a particularly large save that went through which would cause a small lag spike. It's normal so everyone would get that message and lag.Blackadder wrote:On a similar line...

Damn, so is it really happening that often? It's a known issue, I had spent the last 6 months trying to fix it with no success whatsoever. the saves normally take like 100ms but every now and then one will take like 1-2sec.
I'm hoping a new server will solve this as it does not do it as often in dev/test. I'm like 1k in the hole right now so it will be a long time before we upgrade.

I get the same message. Server side, and isn't a major issue IMO.Blackadder wrote:On a similar line...

I agree d, its not a major issue and i didnt mean it to sound as though it was.
I was just wondering if i had something set wrong that might be causeing the spike.....
Its not a problem....

Nah it's completely server side so nothing wrong with your client or anything.
