For those who do not know, there is actually a big dent in the production of HDDs because of the Thailand flooding and prices have been going up due to this.
As an example, the WD 1TB Blacks that my home server uses were around 100 bucks a month or so ago. Now they are 220 bucks. And going up. WD is the most effected.
If you need a hard drive, or a spare, now is the time, before the prices go up even higher.
