the acid slime quest

where are they? ive had this quest for a week now and whenever i walk past villagers they say they have no clue.

They are found randomly around the world in each facet. It may take awhile before finding one.

That's actually my mistake. The quest first started off as an in game scenario involving going into the towns and running up to the townspeople for information and potential "clues" to the locations.

After the scenario was ended, the quest remained but the spawn system changed. Instead of specific spots to a specific slime, the spots are now random. I didn't give too much information about it at the time so here's some information:

Slimes spawn once every 5 days from the moment they are killed. If a slime is not killed, it will stay spawned until it is killed.

Trammel: 2 slimes
Felucca: 2 slimes
Malas: 1 slime
Ilshenar: 1 slime
Tokuno: 1 slime

Slimes do not spawn in dungeons. They spawn on the overworld of each facet.

In order to make the slime into dye, you must have a few requirements:

- Must have an empty slime basin, obtained from the slime quest giver
- Must have done enough damage to the slime for loot rights
- Must be within range of the slime once it is killed (Not in a different area or out of view of the slime)

If you have succeeded, your slime basin will turn a different shade. The color of the slime will be the color of the dye reward you get at the end.

3-4 slimes in Fel?
Land of extra resources and all.

And really, where are you most likely to want to slime around if you're an acid slime? Felucca of course.

Can double the rate in fel to follow suit.

I ran all over to find one last week drove me buggy!
No it didn’t its your own fault your crazy!
My fault no no it all of you people stuck in my head that make me crazy!
Our fault oh no don't blame us all we do is tell you to burn things , kill people and drive into traffic head on, so no way in hell is it our fault.
Oh sorry guys and girl I didn’t mean to upset you, how about a sacrifice to sooth and calm you all down?

The only time I looked for these was when the event was running. Then it was kind of easy, run to areas of interest or historical buildings. More often than not you would find nothing, but occasionally you would.

These days, I just make sure I always have a basin in my pack just in case I run across one. Actually going out and searching every part of the land is likely to end in frustration or slime madness.
