Are The Servers Down?

Because Im connecting to the Tc1 public in ultima online and it just keeps saying its connecting for like an hour now.

A couple of things to note:

The server is running OSI Client: 6.0.12.4 Patch 90. If you are using anything higher, AOV does not currently support any of the newer packet changes on the live server. It is up to the admin to apply support for it but at this point in time the admin informs us it cannot be done due to conflicts. I would provide more insight but I do not have all the details.

If you wish to connect to the server, you will need to patch your ultima client to the patch above ^^.

If you are trying to connect to the TC1 shard and cannot get on, it is likely because you do not have an account on the live server OR TC1 has not been synced to the live server so that your account appears on it. TC1 is mirrored from the live server except tc1 has the newest developments. TC1 is the test centre for the server, it is not our live server. The data between TC1 and the live server is not frequently synced so if you have created a new account recently, it may not be on the TC1.

Also tc1 runs on the newest patches so you will need both patches to play both servers.

A lot of people use the test server to try out a suit combination or to test something out without making a mistake that cannot be reversed on live server (such as enhancing something). Some people also use the test server to test out things or see things that are not yet on the live server.

i use it lore monsters [mostely demitals and things like that]. tc1 is very useful.

How do i come about getting a tc1 account and how do i know if im downloading the right client , patches etc and what do you mean the server is not synced?

Me and my friend over here just want to play and we havent been able to for like a day lol

Actually TC1 has to be manually synced with live every now and then, so if the last sync happened before you registered you wont be able to get on. It's been a while since I did a sync though so I will do one soon.

OR you can connect directly to tc1.uovalor.com port 1337 and auto create the account.

This is what i did......

1 Dowloaded uo
2 Patched up to 6.0.14.4 (for the main server)
3 Copied the ultima online folder and pasted on a different location on my harddrive
4 Patched the second ultima online folder up to 7.0.4.4 (for tc1 server)
5 Then on the razor start up window (where you choose the shard) their will be a thing called uo data directory where you choose what uo folder you want to use. Click browse then click the first ultima online folder then do it again for second ultima online folder

Well thats all you need to do and both of those patches works find on the tc1 and the liver server.

Note: To stop patching (like 6.0.14.4) just press the cancel button as soon as the patch has finnished downloading.
