STR-76 + 19 (in accessories) = 95
DEX-49 + 6 (in accessories) = 55
INT-100 (base)

im thinkin PoisonTactics/Necro...

Fencing-90 (i want pike w/spell channel or kryss w/ability 2 chug)
Tactics-90 (special moves, mainly Inf. Strike also AI and Par. Blow)
Necro-100 (awesome spells)
SprSpk-100 (obvious reasons)
Healing-80 (ability 2 heal, cure, and rez)
Anatomy-80 (40% DI + ability 2 heal, cure, and rez)
Res-100 (40 minimum points in res iz good 4 me)
Poison-60 (up 2 greater poison)

so, ive ben thinking a while about this charaktr and this iz tha best per my play style...id like 2 kno what people think...however, i wont stray 2 much from this template, i think...i am open 2 suggestions tho...i also have a few ?'z 4 any1 willing 2 answer...

1. can i afford 2 sacrifice MED all 2gether 4 Wraith/Wisp combo??... 2. does SpellChanneling work 4 Necro spells?
3. can i sacrifice 5 points in Necro to add 5 points in Poison 4 ParasiticPoison?
4. would this build be better suited 4 anything besidez PvM/ChampSpawn?

I don't think you will be satisfied with that template. Its different, which is sometimes good. But ask yourself, how are you going to kill the champ? With poison strike?

Build that guy, give him a try if you want. Then we can do a champ together and I am willing to bet you will like my template better. Here is a good template without any powerscrolls.

100 Necro
100 Mage
100 Eval
100 Spirit Speak
100 Resist
100 Wrestle, you can change that if you get a good sc slayer weapon. Its a lot easier to get superslayer books to start off with.

Start out with the best lrc stuff you can afford, then work up piece by piece. You should get some AoAs from the fel champs on the later levels too, they help out a lot. Your first gear should be Kasa, RBC, and Gloves of the Sun. Sell your soul for Grim Strikes whenever you see someone offering them.

The template you listed sounds far better suited to being a hidden protector incase of a raid. It looks much more like a pvp template that with the right skill jewels and equipment you could polish off nicely. If you are looking for a good spawn template Doc's will work better I'd say. If you wanted to try something different you could also consider a spell weave necro. Essence of wind can be awesome for some spawns and gift of life(Auto Res upon death) and gift of healing (Heals you over time) are great ways to stay alive, not to mention that dryad alure can get you some powerful allies for other spawns (Ogre lords pwn Coon for the record).

Necro Spellweaver before high-end e

100 Necro
100 SS
100 Spellweave
100 Mage
100 Eval
100 Med
100 Wrestle or Resist (I prefer wrestle because most spawns hit you with melee or arrows but its really a preference thing)

Necro Spellweaver after scrolls and with a good SC -0 Mage Wep (There are some decent AoAs and/or other arties that can fill this role)

120 Necro
120 SS
120 Mage
120 Eval
120 Spellweave
100 Med, Resist, or Wrestle (120 after you get the vet bonus points)

If you get a ton of mana regen you don't really need Med while in wraith form for most spawns. Like I said a good SC Mage Weapon (preferably one of the SC -0 Mage Weapon -0 weapons you can find) can replace Wrestle later on too. Which would then leave Resist as a good choice.

Another really fun spawner template is a Paladin Spellweaver (4/6 Essence of wind is pretty rockin' and 4/6 chiv heals are awesomesauce). But thats completely different than the template you listed so i'll leave that for disscussion later if you have interest.

van, mage weapons use your magery skill as a weapon skill. Most spawn with -20 or greater as a handicap.

100 mage with a -20 mage wep would melee fight at 80 weapon skill with that weapon.

there are 4 -0 mage weapons that I can think of. Staff of magi, Swords of Prosp, Magi Edge, and Devistation.

I am confused about wrestle skill. Why was wrestle in the template? And why do you remove it if you have a good mage weapon? Do you fight melee on the mage?

Having a melee skill or mage wep as a substitute lowers the chance of mobs and people hitting you with melee and arrows attacks. Its like increased Deffense chance increase. For spawns this is useful because it means your spells get interrupted less.

I use protection spell. Is there a reason why I should use the mage weap or wrestle skill instead?

Did you see what Plastic wrote? If you want to get hit less, you should use wrestle or a mage weapon. Personally, I wouldn't waste time on wrestling and just get the Magician's Edge. Not only is it mage weapon -0 and SC0, it's also FC1 AND it has 10 DCI and it's one-handed. It is a total win.

Well, if you have something where you get hit much less, then you don't need to cast protection and take the huge casting speed penalty which means you can cast faster and do the spawn faster.

The reason to use wrestle and not just a mage wep is to use a Last book of Arkazaa or EoM. For a pure mage type character they are far better than Magicians Edge or the other SC weps generally (if you are trying to build a pure spellcaster), and for some critters its knida nice to be able to disarm them. But as I said before fitting wrestle into the template means going with a high MR suit and dropping meditation or dropping Magic Resist. I opted for 43 mana regen on my suit and dropped Med.

another reason to use books instead of mage weapons is that books can be made with superslayer mods. Its hard to get a set of super slayer talismans, and even then at coon you need reptile and repond or vermin slayers for the last level. Good luck getting a double super slayer taly, it can be done, but they dont drop very often.

But hey, I started on this server using swords of prosperity and REGS(those things you needed to cast spells before LRC came out). I did a fair amount of baracoons and killed a lot of lower level tok champ monsters with that setup.

Why use wrestle if you have protection spell? Isn't wrestle to prevent spell interruption?
