I was startled from my reverie next to Mordak’s bed by the town crier. I rushed over to him and picked up the latest copy of the Sosarian Standard, perusing it for any pertinent information. In bold letters on the front page I saw that another meteor had struck Britannia, this time next to the Shadowlords stronghold east of Yew.
I decided that I would pack up and attempt to see the crash site for myself, hoping against hope that any Shadowlords members I saw would note my status as a healer and not attack. My worries were unneeded though, as I saw no warriors or spellcasters during my journey.
But seeing any fellow Britannians would have been a welcome sight compared to what I saw. Next to a large stone building I saw the crash site, and it looked remarkably similar to the one in Magincia a few weeks earlier. But the gravest part about this was that the blackrock elementals were already there, swarming about the meteor, as if they were guarding it. I did not get to see them for long, as I seemed to have gotten to close to the crash site and the immense heat caused me to black out. I awoke later leaned up against a tree not far from Empath Abbey in Yew. Apparently dragged there and tended to by an unknown person.
I fear greatly now about the circumstances surrounding Britannia. Firstly, these meteors are not typical, and having two of them within one month is quite unsettling, considering what the meteors are made of. Last time, the meteor spawned but one blackrock elemental, but this time there are already many more than that. I also fear that the cloaked figure who seems to be behind all of this may be targeting the bases of the Factions. Perhaps to keep the strongest warriors and mages distracted with each other while he weaves his plans of destruction.
I hope that the remaining two factions keep their eyes to the sky and take precautions, as it may be their base that is hit next.
