Fens of the Dead

Having cool custome monsters is nice, but not when you comepletely overwrite areas that are only one a very few spawnpoints for some creatures.

Fens of the Dead used to have:
Acid Elemental
Alligator
Bog Thing
Bogling
Giant Rat
Lizardman
Plague Beast
Plague Beast Lord
Plague Spawn
Slime
Swamp Dragon
[[As per stratics]]

Now all I see at Fens of the Dead are:
Poisin Ivy
Poisin Ivy
Poisin Ivy
Poisin Ivy
Poisin Ivy
Poisin Ivy
Poisin Ivy
Poisin Ivy
Poisin Ivy
Alligator
Swamp Tentacle

Now IMO the biggest problem is that Fens of the dead used to be one of the easiest places to get a swamp dragon, because you can mark where they spawned(and it was a set spawner, not on a random one as I recall) and then you could recall in check for respawn and then recall out. For a while swampies almsot replaced horses for PvM because once you bonded one and barded it the damge reduction was very handy. I intended to start doing this, but if I have to trek to Ilsh and fight paras just to find a swampie on a random spawner no thanks, thats too much work for somethign that shouldnt be so hard.

My other problem with the Fens of Poisin Ivy(Since thats all it really is atm) is that Poisin Ivys are annoying, easy, and dont have anything worth even opening the corpse for, so having an entire swamp thats repopulated with basically just one mob is very boring and bland. I would be all for Poisin Ivy's being added to a standard spawner with all of the standard mobs that spawn there, but at a MUCH lower % chance to spawn, I mean there's no need for a spawn full of the buggers.

Ya, fens of the dead is probably not spawned as intended (Don't look at me, chances are it was not my doing because it's on my list of things to change). I'll see if I can get to that later in the day.

There's some in humility in ilshenar as well.

If Humility swamp was listed as a place on Stratics you can find one then I can tell you the spawn there is dismally scarce (The swamp West of Mistas city in Ilsh) I couldnt seem find any real spawn there at all, swampies or otherwise.

Chaos Dragoons should still spawn in the Ilsh city of Mistas, they do not. That used to be another way to get a swampie as you could kill the dragoon then tame it.

Chaos Dragoons are on my list of things to code along with the stomp ability that swamp dragons have. Dragoons were one of those monsters that were removed then re-added in. I found a resource for them so I should have enough information on them now.

By the way, fens of the dead is spawned. It's only stage 1 (basic spawn) till I go in and adjust it accordingly.
