Nope, and sometimes it can take even longer, depends on the creature, and there *IS* a bug where a pet takes like a month to bond, at least, on Demise they had that bug, though it could also have to do with the aggressiveness of the monster. The 1 week is basically a minimum.

I was thinking of making it shorter, though it would defeat the purpose of pet bonding deeds.
