Downtime - Updates (done)

Running the client data file update on the server. Maybe this will fix the lag issue... it just seems insanely bad today, maybe they released a client update or something and if people updated it could be causing lag.. who knows... can't see that this would fix it but at this point anything is worth a try.

Edit: The patching did not do anything, as I figured.

Sorry about this lag guys, I'm working hard on it, it's pissing me off too.

I did more work this weekend on this update then asayre has done in 2 years on demise.

Now if only I can figure out the freaken lag issue. What makes this so hard to debug is how it fluctuates a lot, and does not affect everyone, its always affecting different people.

yeah it randomly affects random people. It's like if it picks half the shard, they lag, then it slowly switches over to other people. It's totally messed.

But when I tell someone who is lagging to try and download a file from the server, they get like 300KB/sec which is fast... so that says it can't be a routing issue. But if it was a server issue, then everyone would lag.
