I'm pretty much all done the new IDOC system and it will be going in next publish. I hope this will make it better for everyone in terms of idocs, as some things can be annoying such as place bots.
I put the info in Information center already but it is not yet in affect until the server is published.
There was also a bug with the IDOC stage lasting only 1 minute (next time timer ticks, basicaly) and ignoring its randomized time. This has been fixed.
