I made a char with inscription, how do I make special spellbooks?

Well let me say welcome to AOV

Now to make the best spellbooks requires 120 Magery + 100 Inscription... although its obvious we havent pulled a 120 mage yet so 100 magery will have to suffice.

You'll also have to find the scrolls. Now I know imps drop lower level mage scrolls, DFs drop the highest, demons drop some as well. Though if anyone knows of others that drop scrolls let me know as I can make sure they are spawned.

Scribes can only make two types of books-Runebooks and Spellbooks.
If by "Special Spellbooks", you are refering to Books of Chiv, Books of Bush, or Books of Ninja, then you cannot make those.
These are found at the following places:
-Books of Chiv: Approximately 140/150 Gold, Keepers of Chivalry near Luna
-Books of Bush:Ronins, these spawn near the first option and last option of Tokuno. The last option is more abundant, seeing there is the Ronin Dojo
-Books of Ninja: Elite Ninjas. I've found several of these spawn nearby the first option of Tokuno.

If by Special Spellbooks, you mean Spellbooks with enchancing properties, these require Magery and Inscription. The higher your magery, the better the book is. The highest scroll of power with have for magery so far is..oh...we haven't got one. Nevermind that one.

In general,
Magery 100-1 Property
Magery 110-2 Properties
Magery 120-3 Properties
Edit:You don't need 120 Magery to get three properties. It's possible with 100 magery, however it's more difficult. I checked OSI and Demise, and this has proven to check out. Thanks, Bruno.
I believe the properties of spellbooks, if you want a refrence, are:
-Slayer (Lesser and Super)
-Lesser Mana Coss
-Lower Regent Cost
-Int. Bonus
-Magery Bonus
-Med. Bonus
-Spell Damage Increase
-Faster Casting
-Faster Casting Rate

Magery Bonus and Meditation Bonus are useless on their own, if they're with a Super Slayer, they're alright. But for the most part, they're horrible.

Make sure your scribe has Magery, or he won't be able to scribe any spellbook (as I said)

Or you can ask Brunus in-game to make you a book. I can craft both necro and magery spellbooks. I just dont know about special ones...

Btw, you dont need to have 120 magery for 3 mods book. Magery only increases the chance of getting mods on the book.

Or that works, that's how I got mine.

Then again, that was a kick ass book. I gave it away to someone who'd use it, though. I'm still left with my Scorching Rodent

Yeah if you see a rabid squirrel and all your damage is poison based... run, if you can't kill it, it will kill you most likely.

Theres no server wars or shut down currently but I'll probably set one, though it will be at a reasonable time like 7:00ET so for those who work you can still set a macro overnight and not have the server go down in middle of it.
