I hope he's not making the tired old implication that whitey is always the racial bad guy and that they are the ones that need to reach out to blacks to be less "voluntarily" socially segregated. Never mind the fact that we're are so constantly beat over the head about how we need to have an "honest" dialogue about race that it's cliche - to announce it as though it's a fresh idea is absurd. I want to see a black politician get up for once and say that BLACK people need to learn to be honest about race relations. Bill Cosby was man enough to engage black America about the need for it to take responsibility for itself.
