Got a new phone for my birthday along with a car so i'm happy. I took a pic from oldest to newest. (Oldest on the left and newest on the right)

uhhh yeah lol. Insurance is rape with a license, I can imagine what they'd charge without. Insurance is basically the same price as the car, but per year. It's rediculous.

Yeah it is insane for my age. 300-450$ a month. So i'm probably going to go 50/50 with my mom. Her insurance is 50$ish, with me it'd probably be 100-150$.

My insurance premium is going up because I just got a new car. Used to be around $300 ever 6 months (I drove an old POS), now it's quite literally doubled to a little over $600. Still, not too bad considering.

no it's $600 every 6 months, so about $100 a month.

Once upon a time when I was a single 20-21 year old and going on pointless extended boat rides and smelling like diesel fuel....er proudly serving my country that is....

I was paying $150/month for a four year old Toyota Tercel.

edit: it helps when you get Tax free pay and hazard pay in the Persian Gulf though.

I have a 1998 buick lasabre, so its quite an old car, but decent condition and everything. Even with that, I'd be paying like 5k insurance, and the car costed 4k lol. So we put it in my dad's name when I bought it. When I hit 25 then insurance may be lower.

If it was my choice I'd just go without insurance. If I get into an accident, well I'll buy a new car, with the money I saved up from not having to pay insurance. It's a true scam, really.
