but it comes with 5 beta testing codes, so he's giving me a code so we can both be beta testers for Wrath of the Lich King. =D
And he's giving me the battle chest cause he already has it lol.

Yeah those are a rip, they arn't called core 2 for nothing, its false quad core.

AMD's are true quad core.

Really I don't know why major PC makers don't go with AMD, their chips are like twice as cheap, and more stable. Or they should use both since they both have their strenghts in different uses.

I really haven't been reading up on my CPU benchmarks, but I think intel actually has the performance edge right now.

It looks neat, but I couldn’t imagine schlepping that and the power brick around campus. (Of course, if I were that rich, I wouldn’t be going to college.)

Yeah think your right actually. Not sure how the AMD quads compare though. AMD's mistake was buying ATI, that wasted lot of time and resources, while intel just kept pumping chips away.

i dont care about carrying it around.

The processor is good, the memory is okay, the video card is epic, and it comes with a crap-ton of WoW stuff. Including beta codes so you can be a beta tester for the next 5 Blizzard games
