It was locked. I filed a police report, complete with the serial, and I’ll call local pawn shops tomorrow. I get the feeling that the chance of recovery is pretty slim though.

I’m not absolutely distraught, but I’ve been all over Murfreesboro with that bike. I was planning trips outside Murfreesboro. I can still get around, but it won’t be as fun.

Yeah good luck getting it back, you never know. Pawn shops are a good place to start, lot of people will steal then sell. The pawn shop might be able to give you information on who brought it and possibly help police catch them.

It’s 1:00 at night, and I just finished a flier. I’m embarrassed to have my name attached to something so hastily prepared and something that measures frame size in inches, but I’ll be posting them wherever I can tomorrow—or today, rather.

I’m aggravated. I have a C++ program due Tuesday, a literature paper due Friday, and possibly my first day on the job at Kroger (two kilometers away). Oh, not to mention trying to find my bike that I use to get around everywhere.

And I’m still wasting time on the Web.

Man that sucks. But yeah, keep checking the pawn shops, at worst you can find another bike (probably stolen from someone else) on the cheap.

And worse comes to worse, bikes are only a few hundred bucks you could get a temporary one at least till you find it. Since you had the serial that will help things a LOT on it's own.

Thanks, guys. I picture it laying in the rain, Ron Paul stickers obscuring spray-painted green.

I think having an ugly, cheap, “vintage” bike would give me a bohemian edge. Maybe I’d finally be able to grow a beard and write poetry.
