House construction, goza mats, stairs, etc, etc

Ok, this is something I've been seeing a lot for the past year or so. On OSI, goza mats can be raised after they are placed, even though they are an add-on. On top of that, they can be walked upon, thus giving a house decorator/creator an extreme amount of creativity when building. It seems that the mats are recognized almost like floors because other add-ons (beds, forges, etc) can be placed on them. I'm not entirely sure if this was a bug created by the OSI crew and they decided to let it go or if it was intentional. Regardless, if it's possible here, it would be cool.

On a similar note, it is with this "bug" that the tiered staircases can be created.

Just wondering if this would be possible here or if it is wishful thinking. I would love to be able to work with this to perfect my lighthouse.

I think the goza mat thing on osi was a bug. One thing I've been wanting to do though is a way to set up telepads to go on castle roofs and stuff.
