Acid In Coffee?

Hello Everyone: I liked to know if anyone knows, what I can use to put in a pot of coffee to neutralize the Acid. I don't like decaf. Thanks, Tom

I'd suggest dynomite, but that would neutralize the entire pot. (I don't like coffee.)

Most cleaning products are bases so that should work. But I'm sure coffee is made safe so even if there's acid it won't harm you like acid normally would, it's in such low concentration, what counts is the over all pH of the substance and I'm sure it's not too far from 7.

Coke for example has acid in it, and that acid's pH is 3, but there's no way coke's pH is 3, since it would melt through the can.

You could even go to a specialty coffee store and ask them what brand of coffee would best fit with your desires. Of course, then you might end up spending two or three dollars per cup.
