I am going to make my own guitar cases. I don't want to spend 70+ dollars on a decent hardshell case. I think I can make several very easily, and have them more catered to my needs than I could buy anyway. I think after work I am going to buy some wood and stuff...

More than one case? How many do you need to make? Maybe you could just buy a really, really big suitcase. HaHa.

Yes, I have made my world-famous guitars for other people, including Bono of U2, Angus of AC/DC and George Harrison. I sell them for 5 dollars each, not including shipping. If you want one, just PM me your credit card details

I've always wanted to, and even drew out some detailed plans a couple of years ago, but to get a guitar playable enough for what I need tkaes more effort, time and money than I have to dedicate right now.

I stayed at work an hours longer than I was planning, I guess I'll pick up that wood tomorrow.

Depending on how they turn out, I might start. I can't believe that in the 2 years I've been talking about needing hardshell cases, this is the first time I've actually thought about making my own.

I bought a bunch of vinyl to cover it/them in. I have the frame and the design, I need to go get some more supplies after a change in the design. So far so good, and it's turning out to be much cheaper.
