I saw something freaky in the bush
It was my first time this year seeing this, but it seems to haunt me every year. Almost no matter where I go, I see it. Sometimes it's bigger, sometimes it's harder to see. It does not really move or make noise only when it's windy. But it's something that sends a chill down my spine.
Yellow leaves. Fall weather
The end (of summer) is near.

Whatever it is, it's freaky! And it's coming out to get me! *looks forcast for this week* Not snow, but does rain at -1 degrees count as snow?
Nah, I give it at least a few weeks before snow so we're good.

I wish it would snow here. Even in the summer its only slightly hotter then in the Winter. We havent had proper snow since the mid nineties.

I don't mind winter, since at least there's no rain. I'm not a fan of going outside when it's -40 out, but it's better then walking in rain and getting clothes soaked. Also when you're 4 eyed like me it's even worse.

slushy? More like icy. Well spring tends to be slushy but the rest of winter is super dry. I think that's why it's not so bad, even when it's like -50. Because it's so dry here in winter. But humid winters can be pretty cold. I was in the south and it was like -15 and yet it was actually cold. So I can sort of understand Toronto's fuss over that "storm" they had a few years ago.

So I'd just call it a "second summer" or something. Our summers are like american winters.
