Scheduled Site Downtime - Saturday Aug 25th 07

One of my sites got hacked by a communist group, and to ensure there is no backdoors remaining I will be doing an entire delete of my sites and reuploading all the data. This will cause a period of downtime sometimes Saturday or Friday night.

Ok now after I posted this, I posted & was able to upload a pic for Triple6's birthday.

I came back here & again the upload option isn't here.

The hackers were communists. The defacement pretty much showed this. Its a known hacker communist defacing group. Probably from ytmnd or 4chan. I'm leaning more towards ytmnd being responsible for it.

Yeah I have to recode that thing. Way it works requires forums to be chmodded 777 and thats probably how we got hacked. I only saw files in directories which were 777 (world writable). I'll be recoding the shoutbox to use mysql instead, when I get time.

Recoded the chat to use a mysql database now. I did not bother to migrate the old data, so we're starting new.
