I installed this and it works great.
It puts a Firefox icon by your clock & preloads part of Firefox on boot.
Firefox now loads twice as fast.

I found out as all of a sudden Firefox was taking forever to load pages with graphics--half the time I had to hit refresh.
I even uninstalled & reinstalled-it didn't help.
I ran in this new one & that fixed it.
