It looks at your XP system & tells you which patches are in or needed, along with ALOT of MS toys which will not install from Microsoft if you have a 'modified' copy of XP.
Its a BIG download, but current & free.
Alot of the patches are 'unofficial' but no problems here installing them all.
It will alow you to choose to install just critical updates.
You could slipstream these into a new XP install disk.
