This is pretty funny. I'd just go to Canadian tire, buy some bulk wireing and two ends, spend maybe under 50 bucks, and make my own damn extension cord, and the exact lenght needed.

You don't even need any type of crimper or other special tool, just a screw driver.

And notice how they even try to sell more products through that. You'd think they'd be happy enough if you only both that one cable, which cost what? 20 bucks to make? LOL The only difference really is that it's shielded well.

Not just shielded well, but damn near perfectly would be my guess, you pay for perfection. Places that need perfect replications of audio would need something like this. Definately high-end-not-your-everyday-household cable!

Bah, just buy 1000 dollars worth of duct tape, wrap it around your cheaper cord, and you save tons

Aluminum duct tape anyway...

Actually I did a co-op at a telco and some cables had interfeerence, so they used trusty kitchen foil paper and it worked.
