I tend to flip to CNN to see all the exciting new contreversys of the US and they were talking about homo marriages and the headline title was "the war on terrorism". They must of forgot to change it. That or they went way off topic, since later on they started talking about iraq. But it's hilarious that it happened that way.
If this keeps up software piracy will be an act of terrorsm too. Everything will be an act of terrorism.

If this keeps up, the 'terrorism' bs (which will happen if Bush is re-elected), I may find myself in Canada next year. That's why the Patriot Act is bs, they can call you a terrorist, bypass all the checks and balances meant to keep the citizens safe, and arrest you for whatever they want without a court order.

Actually I heard a story about a random guy that was escorted out of the airport because he was "suspicious" and we went through a hole bunch of torture. I think they are taking it too seriously. I mean we all have our opinion on homos, or even murderers, but they are not terrorists. Even a murderer does not compete with a terrorist and does not qualify as one.. heck they now consider hacking "cyber terrorism". So if I hacked the pentagon's site it would be just as bad as bombing it. LOL
Here in Canada there's more order and priority for things like that, and more freedom too so anyone really, would like it here. You just got to know the country first, since so many people have interesting views about Canada such as igloos and polar bears and no rights etc...

so does that mean that a person that uses the intense fear of a possible attack, or of being accused as a terrorist, to coerce others to accept legislation and to give up basic human rights like that to privacy, could in fact be a terrorist themselves?
Trying to fight fire with fire, huh...

hmm, I think you may be on to something, too bad that arguement would never work against the powers to be. The cold war was last time this happened, and it's times like these where I start to lose faith in the governments ability and rational.
