Yeah, I was thinking about that when I wrote it, and I think they penalize people for TRYING to kill themselves, so I left it in there, but of course if you succeed there's nothing they can do.

Erolyn, if you had a larval human groweing within you, an illegal child that you were not supposed to have, what would you do?
and don't forget the daddy is just some guy you and he took off.
First of all, that's physically impossible, and larvae are not the issue here. Secondly, if some guy just knocked me up and left, I'd still have the kid. I'd probably give it up for adoption, but I wouldn't KILL it. I read an article in a magazine today about a girl who got raped and got pregnant when she was TWELVE years old and raised the baby, and still got a college degree. If that chick can raise a kid, there's no excuse for anyone else.

Then I'd raise the kid on my own...or at least give it up for adoption. That's probably the best thing to do for the kid: give it to someone who can raise it the way it should be raised.

I got to thinking on this subject and though what would I do if I did get someone pregnant. And I found out that I would never no matter what have it killed. Just the fact that it is a part of you, I could never live with that. Its not about my future or afraid of being disowned by your family or not being capable of taking care of it. It boils down to that baby is a part of you and in getting an abortion your are killing a part of yourself and I don't think I could never do that. I am religious and that didn't really play a part in my reasoning. Thats all i have to say on abortion so I will now move on.

Thats all you have to say about abortion? Yeah, lets end the conversation right here because you feel that way.
I would only choose to have an abortion if i felt i would never be able to be the best father i could be, hence being not financially stable or too young. Even then it's still my fault and my problem, but i would so much rather not bring a child into this world when i am not capable of taking care of it. I think thats the right thing to do, but thats me, not you, which is probably a good reason why we aren't right now.

why the would your family disown you? The basic principals of family are to love you no matter what, and if you up, there is no reason to divorce a child especially when they are in a great time of need. Thats insanely absurd to even make a comment like that will, because some people might take that seriously, and i hope their parents wouldn't be those type of people to follow through without supporting their child, when most likely their child was a mistake in the first place.
