Hiryu's should work good.

Or you can do the faction trick and just do bulls. Which is sweet on this shard because the faction thing only lasts for 3 hours or something.

Go tame Kirin's or Unicorns. You can pretty much tame anything in the 90's and it will easily take you to 110. It's more trying to get to 120 that it gets slow. Swamp dragons are good to.

I couldn't get either of those suggestions to work when I started. :-/ Wound up spinnin' somethin' on the roulette table and gettin' a skill deed tho.

When I used to play demise I did mostly rune beetles and hiryus.

But I would just buy one of those skill deed bags, much easier.

On Demise you could train taming from 84-120 in about a night at the savage camp, as long as you have savage paint on and lore locked at 0.

How?

: You have to tame like 30 things before you get .1 gain. It's the most brutal skill to train next to poisoning. Took me 2 months to go from 50 to 60 then I found out about skill balls so I used that. I had a 115 ps on my tamer but never got the patiance to train it, so I got maybe 100.4 from occasional hour here and there of taking rune beetles to release in luna and stuff.

The Sheriff of Malas, 2nd floor Luna. Just bring him the scrolls you find on the smugglers.

Actually, in their beetles. I often see people kill the smugglers but let the beetles loose. They're wasting their time.

Though you can just hover over the beetle, if it says 0 items then you don't have to bother killing it.

Try it. Use a staffer if you don't feel like getting paint. Set animal lore to 0 and taming to 84 and macro "useskill animaltaming > waitfortarget > targetbytype( whateverridgebacksare ) > wait 14 seconds" and by morning you should have massive gains.

Are these quest rewards for doing the smugglers quest? I turned in a bunch of the stolen papers and only got gold.

Yes, the rewards are gold, a skill deed bag or a random artie deed (very rare).
