“Afternoons in Utopia” by Alphaville

It sounds a bit like children’s music. It’s very soothing.

“The Modern Things” by Björk

all the modern things
like cars and such
have always existed

they’ve just been waiting in a mountain
for the right moment

listening to the irritating noises
of dinosaurs and people
dabbling outside

all the modern things
have always existed
they’ve just been waiting

to come out
and multiply
and take over

it’s their turn now…

Nice, you listen to Funki Porcini, huh. I've got their 'The Ultimately Empty Million Pounds' album. Some really good lo-fi lounge stuff.

Cool... you like Funki Porcini too.
That's a great album. I used to have it until a friend borrowed it and never returned it.
I have 'Fast Asleep' album - very relaxing... meditative. Infact I am hoping to get 'Hed Phone Sex' album today.

Another Philip Glass fan, huh? Have you ever heard the music he did for 'Mishima' or 'Koyaanisqatsi'?

I love Koyaanisqatsi but haven't heard what Glass did for Mishima. I might just check that out.
Do you listen to Steve Reich?

Hmmm, 'Steve Reich' doesn't ring a bell. Is he another minimalist composer? Anyway, if you're into art films, you'd probably find Mishima to be interesting. In any case, Glass' music for the film was very good.
