Luna house purchase

i would like to buy the empty plot of land on luna's North wall owned by Indust, according to the rules empty plots with no walls or anything would be removed for those who would actually build on it, can a gm please remove it or transfer it to my name in exchange for its

We'll have to verify that the house has not been created recently. We may choose to warn the player in game or through pms to fix their house. If they've quit or there's no response, the decay process will be forced on it, then it's anyone's game to claim the land when it decays. I'll check out the spot you're referring to a bit later.

Been trying to get a "force decay" command to work. So rather then giving a spot to someone we just force it idoc that way its fair for everyone.

Yeah I disabled it on houses, pets, and region controllers. Too often did I accidentally delete something crucial. They have to be deleted with [interface or demolished.

whats the required space between houses in luna? i can see a few places that look like they could squeeze a house in but thye dont seem to fit

Ya there's a ton of factors which unfortunately impact where you can place a house. There needs to be so many spaces worth of padding between your base and another house or some other kind of walls/mountains etc. Also if there's an item such as a massive rock sitting in the middle, that can ruin a really nice spot

. If you can't build a house in a certain spot, keep trying to place one. If it still doesn't fit, move your house down to the next smallest size and go from there.

Also luna is weird for houses, lot of the big houses had to be placed with GM assistance. On OSI you actually can't build houses in Luna from what I heard. So some of the grass tiles ID may be in the invalid tile list.

Oh I'm taking my space, and I play when I feel like it. Too much IRL mess to actually log in too often now and I think thats not a reason to take MY spot away from me. I patiently waited for that spot and I'm planning to keep it.

i beleive you should read the rules correctly, one wall tile does not constitute as a built plot infact it clearly says to try and pretty it up, that being said theres quite a few eye sores around luna and i have to agree with sliptongue someone who no longer plays should give up their plot for people who currently play but thats just my opinion

Yeah the rule is basically if the house is just there to be there, but never used at all and the player never plays, then it counts is being "force idoced" But normally I allow the house to go idoc on its own unless its been ridiculously long that the player never actually logged on to play. i suggest people who don't really use their luna house to think about selling, its a pretty big gold machine now if you want to sell. Lot of people want a luna house. Even *I* don't have one on my regular char lol.

I ironically had a house in luna a long time ago but brunus somehow convinced me to move it to marble isle (Which was a retarded idea). Oh well, I like where my house is anyways.

I don't even know if red was planning to remove that house as it was meant as a tribute to 9/11. It's been up for close to a month so not sure if it's a permanent thing now or not.

Nah don't need to log in every day, but houses that arnt built up and being unused are kind of a waste of space. Also brings down land value.

I thought it was only going to be open period for a short period of time, otherwise I would have said something about it when he first placed it.

But yeah, if you have a plot and don't use it, then don't be an ass and sell it to someone who will use it.

Yeah the memorial will be staying, though the gate might be removed and place elsewhere. I'll place it near that actual mountain in malas, one of those random stumble upon things people might run into.
