9 is a decently nice temp for going outside, wish we'd get it more often. Can't complain today though, we have a day out of the ordinary. It's like +15! I'm sweating lol. The wind is strong though so it's actually a nice kind of hot. First time this year that I can go outside with my shirt off.
I actually cut the grass for the first time. It did not really need to be done that bad, but figured I'd take the opportunity given it's not raining.

But with lots of sunscreen, right? I bet you burn really easily.Red Squirrel wrote: First time this year that I can go outside with my shirt off.
It’s 21 °C now. The sky is so blue.

I burn super easily, but it was not hot enough yet for that. When it's like 20+ then yeah I burn within 15 minutes of being in the sun. I find the spray sun screen works great on me. The rub type wont work at all, even the SPF 50 wont do anything for me.

The sprays are easier to apply, but I never remember to use them.Red Squirrel wrote: I burn super easily, but it was not hot enough yet for that. I’m posting this from the Hebrew version of Firefox. Translating an application into a right-to-left language like Hebrew also means mirroring most of the interface, e.g., filling progress bars from right to left, so it’s a pretty interesting experience.

I promised I would call someone tonight, but I just realized that I don’t have her number.

haha nice.Chris Vogel wrote: I promised I would call someone tonight, but I just realized that I don’t have her number.
A month ago my parents forcefully hooked me up with this girl. She was nice and everything but they were so pushy about it I did not even want to be in that situation.
So I called her up and went out for a night then I put the ball in her court to have her call me next time she wants to do something.
She called back later telling me I was not her type. DENIED!
I rather stay single anyway, at least for now. Maybe in the future that will change. I see no rush in getting a GF and getting married. I want to have some freedom.

Oh, I wasn’t trying to hook up with her; we were friends a while back and decided to catch up on things. I feel very guilty.Red Squirrel wrote: haha nice.
A lot of people have a wife and kids because that’s what’s expected of them, but I don’t see the rush either. It’s not like you can’t get a girlfriend later on. I can’t imagine lying on my deathbed realizing that my entire life was lived to please other people.Red Squirrel wrote: I rather stay single anyway, at least for now. Laser beams do have that “cool” factor, but they’re large and power-hungry. Give me a gun.Red Squirrel wrote: I have LASER BEAMS! PEW PEW PEW PEW PEW!!!
I haven’t had a soft drink or coffee in four days. The caffeine withdrawal was rough, but now I’m okay. I will not go back this time! (I hope!)

Well, if I order bulk “Anchor Bucks” and buy a round-trip ticket, I can get it down to about $13 each way. Nashville is roughly 160 kilometers away, and I would have to pay for parking if I drove, so maybe that’s reasonable.Red Squirrel wrote: Holy crap that's pricy!

So, I switched my site from Ubuntu to Debian. I’m looking to switch my laptop over sometime before school starts.
