I did that by accident on my backup server once. I never added error handling so if it failed to mount the drive for whatever reason it would continue on with the backup job. Oops.

Creepy. its 2:00am both parents in bed, decided to go downstairs to the washroom before I go to bed too, but as I opened my bedroom door I heard some walking and other weird noises and some grunting from the living room. Too dark to make out anything, and probably don't want to see whatever it was... Don't have to go that bad anyway, can wait till tomorrow. I don't believe in ghosts but that was freaky enough to make me not want to get out of here.

Listening to snippets of this 'Abbey Road' album (I have heard 'Here comes the Sun') for the first time and I can see why I have never heard it before. Definitely not my style but quite some odd names for the titles.

Slightly disappointed to see that the hosting company for my .com does not have custom 404 error pages.
Oh well, guess it will just be my .net then.
Did Red Squirrel go on a nut gathering spree for the winter? Or is there a showdown brewing out in front of the saloon and everyone split? edit: Are squirrels very fast on the draw, or does the admin power add +20 to speed?

Oh right, nut gathering. I have to start that soon, or I can do like last year and leech off the chipmunks and eat random birds I manage to surprise jump. Crows with west nile sauce FTW.

I don't see how you guys are able to create all these programs and stuff. I just read a little bit about it on wiki, I got confused after the first paragraph.

speaking as a rookie with such things learning out desire to improve my own site - start with the basics on something like PHP and take small steps

edit: set a goal, even "make a very basic website with it" and you have something to attain then.

Had a piece of almost barely interesting spam today sent from "me" (according to the email address) to me at the same address:
"Free Video Nude Anjelia Jolie (link was here)

About this mailing:

oddly enough the listed link for the video goes to a site dedicated to backpain relief - just guessing by the URL in the email, no intentions of actually finding out.

and for that matter why would anyone care about that if it was real, when the definitely not shy Jolie has showed more a bit of skin in several movies that I have heard of but not seen? Although I hear that her portrayal of the Gia (spelling?) girl who died way too young was quite powerful.

<more random rambling>
why would anyone want to spam my small little blog with links to crossbows and rifles? What good are the ads if the spammer is not in front of me in close range to serve as a test target?
.....of course I would never actually do that, that is a waste of perfectly good ammunition when there are better ways like using them as live crash test dummies.

At most, I see one spam e-mail per week, usually of the “please her in bed” variety. (I could probably tinker with Tuffmail’s highly customizable filters and see spam even less often, but I’m afraid of filtering out something legitimate. It currently kills about 30 messages a day.)

Can you tell I’m a happy customer? If only more people would e-mail me….

Oh, I was looking for pictures of this “Angelina Jolie” character, and I found her sitting with Secretary Rice. Is she normally so hot, or is Condi normally so grandmotherly?

spam is continuously coming through on my network - right into the spam box. I see like 1-2 per week in my inbox, rest is filtered. I was going through today deleting the stuff in the spam folder and simply can't keep up. delete 1000, another 10 come through lol. I should set it so anything older then like 5 days gets auto deleted.

One time a guy threw a bottle of ketchup at me afterward, but usually I just get a vague feeling of regret.

this place has been quiet lately - did "real life" and "nice sunny weather" claim everybody?

It has been a tad bit too quiet. Lately I've just been having fun driving my car around.

I get dragged into the weirdest things.

Had to fix someone's TV. Turned out they had no cable. So I fixed that with a coat hanger. LOL

Haha, nice Red.
Couple weeks ago when I locked myself out of my house. I borrowed a neighbors hanger and unlocked the door. My door is one of those old school ones, where you can unlock it with just about anything that can fix past the door. Credit card, etc etc. Also, when I first got my car I ended up fixing my side panel with a nail file.

Oh dear. There's not much meat on a squirrel.
