I wouldn't say that kind of stuff is gone entirely. But let's just say a few members took things a bit too far, and we had to put the smack down.

the random smilie is fine.
100 in a thread called "Smilie spam thread" is fine.
100 smilies or spam posts in the middle of a thread where people are actually trying to hold some kind of discussion... not so much.

People really need to stop spamming on sites that I run. The ones that do, feel my wrath. Sometimes its packets and bandwidth overcharge fees, other times, its lawyer fees.

I checked, and sure enough, his site is gone. This just made my day. One spammer less on the internet. He probably dropped a load in his pants when he got that email.

Oh, yeah. it was my favorite game for a looooong while. I have'nt been able to find someone else who plays it, because it is a bit obscure. but I still like it, mainly because it is one of the few games my computer's graphics card can handle.
