AOV Shard Meeting

This is to inform all players that there will be a shard meeting sometime from 9pm - 11pm eastern time, today. Check the forums and in game for specific times.

What is a shard meeting?: This is a time where players and developpers as well as AOV staff will meet together to dicuss new additions to the shard as well as things that are coming soon.

This is also a great time to let staff know of any bugs you might have encountered or if you have any questions about the shard. Here's the general breakdown of topics:

-Opening with the latest AOV news. New additions that players might not be aware of or might not know all the information about.

-An explanation of a few new systems or changes that will shortly be coming to the shard or that will be in the works.

-A question and answer period for players who wish to ask questions about things in the game.

The more people show up, the better it will be. We cannot hold a meeting if we do not have enough people.

We got preoccupied with some champs and such and missed the timing today so we'll try again tomorrow around the same time

You guys should write the times in gmt too as pretty much noone in old world knows about the timezone you write them in

We're aiming for 9PM or 10PM Eastern time today. I'd convert it but I gotta run right now. There's a timezone calculator utility topic in the event section though.

All times are always ET. We try to specify it but if we forget, you can assume its ET. (GMT -5)

Sorry guys but we'll have to postpone this again because some of the staff have plans for the night. We will try to arrange a date for tomorrow but if not, it'll get pushed to next friday.

Oh sure, there's 18 people online right now and our translator and Red are both gone

I would like to thank all those who showed up for the meeting. We had a great turnout and a lot of good questions were asked as well as some awesome suggestions. The timing was a little on the fuzzy side and I apologize to anyone who wanted to participate but couldn't make it. However, we will be holding more of these in the near future so be sure to check the forums and in game for the next upcomming date.

Also, we need to give these meetings a cool new name. AOV meeting sounds dull. Any suggestions?

Corporate IT meeting.

Those always have donuts and coffee, so people know they want to go. Also need flow charts and graphs (of donuts going through digestive system, perhaps)
