Proper uses of your and you're

Example uses of your:
- Can I see your computer?
- Make sure you bring your medications with you.
- All your base are belong to us.

Example uses of you're:
- You're so dumb.
- You're going to regret that.
- You're getting banned.

See the difference? Your so domb prooves that the person typing it, may be dumb, by not knowing how to properly spell using simple English rules. I'm by far not a good English speller, but at least I spell well enough to be understood.

Keeping things from your parents is more likely to hurt you rather than them. And I hope you don't feel that I am ganging up on you as well. When you post something on a forum, people are going to respond, possibly even lots of people. If you post something positive, people will say, "Way to go." If you post something negative, people will say, "Now, hold on there." That's not the same as ganging up.

Actually, I did that once by accident.

I had to manually change my member group in the database.

Red, as an admin, you have a responsibility to not go overboard causing trouble. You don't always write 'your' as 'you're' when it's necessary, but no one seriously gets on your case about it.

Good question. Any good parant will be aware of the activities of a 13 year old. Especially over the internet, and when 20 year old guys are involved.

Me too.......its not my fault I feel some of you need to respect people a little more and this is a perfect example...but because now you know im 13 you think everything I say is a joke and its not. I'm 43, which IS quite a bit older than you. I have a son who is turning 13 in June, and he doesn't get on the internet much except to play games, but I know I will have to keep a close watch on what sites he goes to. It's what a parent is supposed to do.
