You know how they changed it recently and it sucks hardcore?
Well they have this check for IE and it shows the old image search style under IE.
A quick fix in firefox is to change your user agent string to just say MSIE and you get your old google images back!
To change your useragent type in "about:config" do a search for "useragent" and then replace general.useragent.extra.firefox's value with "MSIE".
I'm not sure if this may cause issues with other sites though. IE tends to follow their own standards instead of W3C so lot of sites need to check for IE to display things differently.

There is also a button to use the older version at the bottom of the page but you have to press it ever search.
Why they won't give us a setting to lock it in is retarded.
On the flip side it's not as buggy as it was before so it doesn't really annoy me that much but it still needs improvement.
