yes that does seem messed up but being an ex-cop i wonder what the suspect was arrested for in the first place.
if on drugs then he's out of his mind and has with certain drugs the strength of 10 men if he wanted to use it. which when out of his mind with the drug can happen at any time it possible he broke the handcuffs and got a knife from his pocket it, i from the angle of the camera could not see what was going on, since the lighting was not good enough to see the left side of the people in the incident.
so before anyone jumps to conclusions they must see more video if any from different angles and hear more of what was going on from the police officers involved. i don't remember any news about it on the television so i don't know if the person shot is alive or had his life ended right then.
but as always you never hear about the other suspects being more responsive after someone gets shot by the police but if you noticed in the video the others straighted up real fast. sure they were sitting down but they were not being bad you say? why were they arrested then. when they were sitting there they were not saying anything that was able to be seen, but when he was shot you could see one of them start talking like he had no time left him self.
i don't agree with that since the one guy got shot I'm just saying another line of thought in the matter.
of course the police officer should be taken off the beat and put in the office for some time to regroup his thoughts and or take a chill pill in other words. but with the violence going on today from kids its a wonder any get out of their early 20's to their later 20's.
i just seen on tv tonight a film from a school camera. some id 10 t in school got thrown out of a class for misconduct, so he came back when the class was just about done for the end of the school day.
sat there in the hallway waiting for the teacher to come out. when she did not he had another kid go in and tell her some one wanted to see her.
so when she came out this id 10 t was behind the outward swinging door, when she got out past the door he hit the 61 year old teach in the temple with brass knuckles . she is lucky she did not die. being hit there is a 99% chance of being dead from the hit.
she ended up with 20 stitches and a headache.
you say he did not mean that much?
sure he did, he had his friend across the hallway with a video camera to take photos of it.
so it was premeditated, of course they did not know the school had installed a wide spread security camera system in the entire school a few years before, so every thing was filmed. just not by whom he wanted it to be filmed by.
now his butt is in jail and he is learning his lessons the hard way.
some of them in jail might think he is a pretty boy. and give him even more lessons, of which i hope nobody ever gets.
but with some of the crazies in jail you can't tell what they will do.
so there is a huge amount of trouble out there that it should not be any surprise that cops are feeling the need to use their guns more.

That cop is definitely in the wrong. Even if the suspect "was" reaching for worst case a gun, The cops had him mostly if not COMPLETELY restrained that a ?taser/tazer?? or pepper spray would have sufficed. If you look closely the one cop had both is hands behind his back at the time of the shooting. That is an execution not self defense.
Anyways I'm all for a cop shooting someone who IS putting the cops life in danger, Hell im for it if the cop thinks hes in danger if the suspect has what looks to be a weapon when 1 cop vs 1+ suspect(s) alone. But come on if hes on the ground face down with 2 cops on him then no it isn't right unless the suspect actually hurts an officer because hes already half restrained and its 2v1 suspect out numbered.

yes if all the situation can be seen then as i said in round about way. i might not agree with the police but i said i can not see the left side of the people involved in the video.
there was not enough light in it. now that can be my crt monitor i know the flat panels can have more light then the old crt's but i can only say anything by what i am able to see.
but i'm in the dallas tx area where the cops have always shot first took names later. its been that way since 1879 or so.

This is mostly bullshit. No srsly. What drug gives you superhuman strength? I know none that do that. I've taken uppers, downers, lsd, shrooms, and I smoke pot. None of these have ever given me super-human strength.... So what drug does that?rovingcowboy wrote: yes that does seem messed up but being an ex-cop i wonder what the suspect was arrested for in the first place.

And not all drugs make you out of your mind. Extreme hallucinogens and highly addictive drugs like crack and meth can make you out of your mind depending on the circumstances.
What certain drugs CAN do however is make people rage-filled, which you can do some damage while rage-fueled. Or possibly numb them to pain making them harder to take down just because they can't feel certain amounts of pain. But super-strengthed? No.
So cops actually believe this stuff the spit at people? That's crazy. The ignorance that America has about drugs is insane.

No, there isn't a drug that gives you the strength of ten people. I don't know where the American government gets off with these crazy ideas. That's like saying marijuana makes you insane, which is something else the American government tried to tell citizens to scare them off.
I have yet to hear this from a RELIABLE source, nor have I seen ANY published work that didn't come from some anti-drug propaganda that has stated this information.
If this drug existed, there would be huge groups of people getting together and taking it and causing mass chaos.
Or, better yet, where is the one guy that takes multiple doses and has the strength of 20, 30, 40 people? Considering how taking multiple doses of the same drug makes the effects more intense.

I have to agree with rc. Im ex-military. Pictures and video are great. But they dont tell everything. You Do "kinda" see him get shot. You Dont know what was going on, what was said, or even what the arresting officer was going through.
Cops get the short end of the stick always. They have a crappy job, with crappy pay, and most of them have a broken home as a result of their job. And when a human being is treated very meanly by everyone all the time, that meanness comes back, and there is no therapy or drug that can cure that.
The real issue here is, nobody has the balls enough to point the finger in the right direction. Cops protect the people and get zero credit for it. When your getting robbed and the cops show up, you love them. But when your getting a ticket, or they are busting you for something you shouldnt have been doing, you hate them.
There was a post on that videos site from someone who said they and their entire family was the victim of police brutality. And from reading that persons comments, its quite clear that they put them selves in bad situations constantly. So whose fault is that then?
Dont get me wrong, im not taking any sides here. I agree with rc, yes, but Im remaining neutral. The overall points here are .. There are 3 sides to any story. He said, she said, and what really happened. .. Cops go through hell and back, and seldom get rewarded for it outside of their own brotherhood.
Its sad the guy got shot. But its also not anyone elses place to judge the people or the situation.
lastly, if you want to see for yourself that what I said here is true. The very next time you get pulled over and the cop is going to write you a ticket. Be happy about it. Thank the officer for pulling you over. Repeatedly shake his hand. Ask him how his day has been while and if he writes you a ticket. And the entire time, watch his reactions. At first he will ignore you because it appears you are "acting" you way out of a ticket. But when you keep on, even when hes writing it. His attitude will change. You'll either get a really questioned look from the person, or you'll make a friend. That my friends is cold hard facts that any of you can reproduce at anytime. And proves once more that Cops just have it bad. And personally, you couldnt pay me 100mil a year to be one.

I recommend to you the drug called "Angel Dust" or better known to the narcotics world as "PCP"
Its a derivative of LSD that was created by the military in their pursuit of the super soldier. LSD is the synthetic creation of endorphins and was created to be used as a truth serum. PCP is the synthetic creation of adrenalin and was created to cause the body to release massive amounts of adrenalin. And as RC stated, this will probably kill you due to congestive heart failure. A small side effect of your heart pumping at un-real rates like 300+. The concept was simple. You give a dieing man a shot of this from a self deploying device, and you couldnt stop him unless you shot him in the head repeatedly, or shot him through the heart.
I too have witnessed this drug in action; twice. I have seen a man of only 130lbs that took 8 men of equal size to restrain. This was after the individual broke the arm straps on a back board from a laying position. Another time, I personally watched a guy put his fist through a windshield. Lets forget for a moment that he shattered every bone in his hand and wrist. He felt nothing of the injury, and he hit that glass with enough force that it logged his arm in the windshield, and he quite literally ripped a whole in the top of the car in his frustrations, as he bled out in the other arm. And this was because none of the rescuers would get near him for the fear of what 1 hit would do. Cus there was no way you could get near this guy.
Do atliitle research. I can assure you that you will find 1000's of storys and accounts from military, police, and civilians who have either tried, or witnessed this drug first hand.

LSD was not created to be a truth syrum... LSD was an accidental creation. In fact, it was the 25th compound made out of lysergic acid.
Second off, adrenaline-fueled endurance and pure physical strength aren't the same thing. And strength "gained" from adrenaline isn't strength you didn't have, it's just strength you didn't know you could tap into. So no, it doesn't make you stronger, it just helps you use abilities that you don't use commonly and probably never knew you had.
On a side note, wouldn't that be "PCP", or better known as "angel dust"? Kind of like saying "LSD", or better known as "acid". PCP is a more technical name than angel dust
