We're sorry. This version of the Windows Live OneCare safety scanner doesn't work with your Web browser or operating system.
You need Windows XP Home Edition, Windows XP Professional, Windows 2000 Professional, Windows Server 2003, or Windows 2000 Server. You also need either Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or MSN® 9.0 or higher.
Yes--Isn't that great?
That's from a Microjunk site to safety scan your PC.
Bitfender site tells me the same thing--
Internet Explorer 4+ is required for the Online Scanner to work.
Click here to download the latest version of Internet Explorer.
I even went as far as deleting all the IE files from my PC & reinstalling--with my new slipstreamed SP3 disk
Then I downloaded a new copy of IE7 & ran the installer --no good.
I can't find anything Googling either.

look at your ftp settings what is your computer telling the internet servers it is.? some are set up to say they are firefox or mozilla, so someplace must be telling the server it is not what it is?
download managers have an option to change that. and xteq has the option to set it to what you want.
who knows maybe your computer is saying its using netscape.2 ??
