This is pretty cool, will basically show the satellite image of your ISPs office, well, whatever is registered as the location of your IP, normally a main router.

kinda of scary, people can figure out where abouts you live through your IP. Of course that's assuming that your not using proxies and that your IO router is located near your town/house.

I track down spammers a lot this way, gives me an idea about where they live. A whois search is all that is really needed to get this info.

i dont see the point tho?

knowing where thay live doesnt really do much for you

knowing ther isp helps but does it matter where thay live?

sure its good for making threats if you want to scare the spammers cuz you know where thay are but other then that i cant see a good reason for it :biglaugh:

HA. Mine is quite a ways away, though. You couldn't track my actually location through that thing.

It changes, but right now it says Nashville, which is about 130 kilometers away. At least the state is right. I don’t want people to think I’m from Alabama. :P

Well the accuracy is still close enough in terms of a nuclear strike. Though a missle strike requires a better location mechanism.

It's because of people like me that some spammers, only spam once. :P
